Of all the little birds we used to raise; downy soft geese, fuzzy baby chicks, speckled little pheasants, and spindly turkeys, baby ducks were my very favorite. Grandma Weston used to make home-made cottate cheese for the ducks. They loved it! Those little yellow fluff-balls would head for shore when it was feeding time, and quack up those fresh white curds with pleasure. This painting evokes sweet memories and tunes-up my "nurturing side". Thanks for another masterpiece!
